Integrum
“I really appreciated your techniques and approaches to getting down to the soul of what we wanted vs. just creating a design.”
The problem
Integrum is a fellow anchor company operating out of Gangplank, the collaborative workspace we share. We previously worked with them to create a solid, memorable brand and website to help them stand out in the growing field of software development. Over the past few years, they’ve discovered a passion for providing Agile coaching and unleashing creativity in teams, so Integrum decided to shift directions out of development and into coaching.
Their team needed help rebranding, communicating what they do, and getting the word out about their new services. These changes called for an overhaul of the Integrum brand, website, and marketing.
The solution
Luckily, Integrum’s team is one of the most passionate and inspiring groups we know, so they had a strong foundation in place. They just needed help solidifying their messaging and visual identity, as well as communicating it to the right people.
Establishing a new company culture
First, we held a workshop with their team to help reveal and articulate Integrum’s new DNA (their underlying purpose, values, and style). They had big dreams — to revolutionize the world of work by restoring humanity and unlocking potential — but we knew they could do it. After the workshop, we started transforming these dreams into a powerful brand that would leave their potential clients inspired and motivated to act.
Revealing their brand metaphor
After establishing Integrum’s DNA and goals, we started on their brand metaphor to guide the rest of the process. As we researched other people, things, and movements that sparked revolutions and inspired innovation, we came across the Industrial Revolution. This time period provided major innovations in manufacturing, transportation, technology, and the overall way we do business — similar to what Integrum set out to do. However, the Industrial Revolution also resulted in a culture centered around goods and productions instead of people. Intregrum wants to change that and bring everything back to humanity. We decided on a metaphor that combines the two ideas. Integrum’s team members are:

Developing a new visual and verbal identity
This metaphor provided all sorts of imagery, messaging, and stories to inspire our work and Integrum’s client experience. We used their existing visual identity as a starting point and injected new life into it with rich colors, industrial textures and graphics, and fonts that blended their boldness and approachability. Their message became equally daring, with an intense and straightforward tone that encourages people to challenge the status quo and embrace candidness.
Redesigning their website
Once the visuals and messaging were complete, we redesigned their website to incorporate the updated look and positioning. Our goal was to establish Integrum as experts in their field and help potential clients get to know the people behind the scenes. We put the team members front and center on the home page, clearly displayed how Integrum can help struggling companies, and reinforced their knowledge by showcasing their Scrum/Agile resources.
Help attract new clients
After debuting the new website, we worked with the team on creating materials to assist in their sales process, redesigning their trade show booth and handouts, and marketing their training classes to peers and potential clients. With all these tools under their belt, Integrum is ready to take Corporate America by storm and transform the working world as we know it.
In their words
“You guys have far exceeded my expectations and surpassed any other agency I've worked with before. I'm a Forty client for life!”
